We can all use someone to help us on our path towards healing. I am here to walk this path with you. My approach is authentic, dynamic and uplifting. I never lose sight of the capacity of the human spirit to persevere, create and transform.
To ensure your unique needs are met, I draw from a blend of therapeutic approaches including Relational, Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, and Mindfulness. I have a sincere passion for supporting adolescents, adults, and families to find the inner courage needed to achieve change and growth. Throughout my twenty-year career, I have developed expertise in treating trauma, loss, major life transitions, foster care and adoption, alcohol and drug dependence, chronic health problems, issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity, and serious mental health concerns including depression and anxiety.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State, and my academic background includes a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and a B.S. in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota. No matter where you find yourself, I will help you cultivate the insight and resilience needed to make meaningful changes in your life.
